A panel of independent judges selected the winners, who were honored in front of a sell-out lunch audience of 250 people at Windows on the River in Cleveland, Ohio.  The winners are as follows.

For Best New Internship: Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District

For Coolest Internship: Dwellworks

“Talented people drive innovation and productivity at every organization,” said NOCHE Vice President Shawn Brown.  “Internships and co-ops are among the most important parts of the talent development continuum. The Expys continues to showcase Northeast Ohio as a great place to attend college, do an internship and get a job.”

NEOintern, NOCHE’s regional internship program, provides a connection between students, employers and internship opportunities in collaboration with the region’s colleges and universities. This year, NOCHE and Global Cleveland partnered with WorkFountain to launch the Northeast Ohio Talent Exchange, a cutting-edge matching technology that transforms the job and internship recruitment process and streamlines how employers and jobseekers connect with each other. With the NEO Talent Exchange and NEOintern, NOCHE continues to develop ways to connect classroom learning to professional practice while providing employers with valuable talent.
