With the recent news that includes President Obama’s support of female entrepreneurs and corporations, such as Goldman Sachs and Dell, that continue to support women in business, the timing could not be more in synch with our fourth-annual Female Entrepreneur Summit on Oct. 21 at Cleveland Public Hall and Convention Center. We will not only give away $20,000 to the top four pitch competitors for the best driver of their businesses pitch, but we will also be providing learning, networking, and inspirational sessions for all attendees.

The summit has an incredible lineup of business professionals and speakers who will cover topics and deliver tactical takeaways. Here’s a brief overview of a few of the workshops we’ll be presenting:

Lauren Rudman and Kristin Tull will deliver a hands-on workshop on recruiting, hiring, training, and leadership development, with checklists, tips, and strategies that can be implemented as soon as one leaves the conference.

Katie Van Dyke will deliver and review the “business model canvas” — a strategic management and entrepreneurial tool. It allows you to describe, design, implement, challenge, and pivot your business model.

Michelle Rowley will be demystifying digital and social media with the top 10 trends for creating engaging strategies, tools to avoid the dark side of social media, and utilizing metrics and analytics to measure impact. Participants will take away solid next steps and strategies to build or enhance the outcomes of their digital marketing and social media initiatives.

Your time will be well spent networking, connecting, and learning from like-minded female entrepreneurs and renowned business owners, such as keynote speakers Jennifer Fleiss and Jennifer Hyman, co-founders of the fashion sensation, Rent the Runway.

The summit is also a wonderful opportunity for business owners to get in front of their target audiences to market products and services and to participate in our business expo by becoming an event sponsor.
