“It isn’t what we say or think that defines us, but what we do.” — Jane Austen (“Sense and Sensibility”)
By Katherine Miracle
Our society focuses on the external, and we need to build the internal. When we spend time posting useless information and continue to request and push people on social media, our brand becomes annoying and then becomes ignored.
I know that you’re thinking, “Katherine is always so positive, and this is not her normal column in CBC.” You are absolutely right!
It is time to ask my readers to begin a new revolution, a strategic personal branding revolution that admits we are not all perfect and everyday is not absolute bliss (everyone looks perfect on Facebook and Instagram, right?). The truth is that we need to respect others and ourselves on social media. Our lives can be spent sharing our message with the world, a message that helps others.
That hope and support will be given to you today by sending a note to me at Americas Respect Revolution on Facebook. I will be sending you the book “Your Strategic Personal Brand … The Truth and The Lies.”
